Rock Choir is the UK’s leading contemporary award-winning choir experience offering local weekly rehearsals, performances to more than 400 towns and communities across the UK.
Rock Choir will be starting a new choir at Rowsley Village Hall on Wednesday 14 January 2026 at 7.15pm; thereafter, every Wednesday at the same time.
Rock Choir invites anyone with any level of musical experience to join – there are no auditions and no requirement to read music. It attracts everyone who loves to sing pop and contemporary songs.
With local weekly rehearsals, social events, extra workshops, weekends abroad, performances, charity performances and national events, a Rock Choir Member can choose as much or as little as they like.
New members may decide to wait until they are confident to perform whilst others throw themselves into the Rock Choir Experience and fill their diaries with exciting performances and social events. We have performed at Edinburgh Fringe this year and are due to sing at Chatsworth Christmas markets in November.
Our choir leader, Rachel Modest is a singer/songwriter, musical director and pianist. She is currently signed to Numen Records as a solo artist.
